Why Is My Hair Frizzy?

If your hair is showing up in the form of frizz its due to the fact that it is extremely dehydrated and the cuticle layers of your hair are lifted seeking moisture from the environment hoping it can quench its thirst.

It is necessary to nourish your hair with moisturizing and protein based products on a regular basis. Much like a plant needs regular watering and and a nutrient dense soil to thrive in, so does your hair.

Hair cannot repair itself so if your strands are lacking in protein, moisture is released in a rapid rate resulting in dry brittle hair which then leads to split ends and then frizz.

You can do your hair a favor and implement these steps on a regular basis. These steps will not only help combat frizz, but it will also keep your hair supple and strong.

1) Wash and condition your hair with a hydrating wash and conditioner.

2) Use a deep conditioning masque once a week

3) Use a leave in protein spray after every shampoo

4) Use a nutrient dense hydrating serum and focus on the mid and ends of your hair.

Keep in mind that the hair furthest away from your scalp has the least amount of protein and moisture in it.
